He said he is getting used to life in Chicago but still struggles with the traffic. This is the 23rd season for the Chicago Wolves Read to Succeed program and they have libraries in the Chicago area that participate. Sharkey said the reading program began Jan.

Coghlan picked names from the raffle and handed out Wolves tickets, fidget spinners and Chicago Wolves beanie hats. The final raffle prize was the chance to get dressed head to toe in Chicago Wolves gear. Coghlan offered the attendees a chance to get an autograph and photograph with him and to check out the hockey gear from the Wolves.

Targeting students in kindergarten through eighth grade, the Read To Succeed program serves as a reward and inspiration for students to excel at existing or new reading programs at school. The Wolves supply free reading logs to help support these reading programs as well.

Students who complete their reading programs, as determined by schools, receive a certificate for a complimentary ticket to a select Chicago Wolves home game. Skates and a member of the Chicago Wolves staff will join your virtual class for Storytime with Skates!
